Davies was commissioned by NCCA to commemorate this exhibition with a site-specific work: Vimy Lane, 2025. Imagining NCCA as a stop within a hypothetical Darwin Metro system, the work serves as both a conceptual exercise and a playful nod to the artist’s own fascination with mapping urban space. As the final piece in the show, it encapsulates the essence of Davies himself—precise, unpretentious, and deeply attuned to the visual landscape of our local environment.
