ArtMart 2018

ArtMart first began in 2015 as a way of drawing attention to Parap as an art gallery hub, with the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art joined by Parap-based Nomad and Outstation galleries to form the Parap Galleries identity: parapgalleries.com.
NCCA contributes to the well-known “Parap Markets", says NCCA Director Rita Macarounas.  ArtMart promotes the idea of contemporary art as being accessible and affordable.  It is mainly about showing, mostly local talent alongside the work of their fellow NT artists and sometimes, national and international peers.

ArtMart 2018 features the work of 20 artists, through a range of mediums: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fabric, video/film/animation and installation
